CALLING FEATURE INSTRUCTIONS
Endeavor members with telephone service
have access to calling feature instructions. The instructions are a quick
reference guide to using Endeavor calling features. Click on the links below
to start browsing.
1
Three Way Calling
Connect with family and friends. This feature lets you turn
a two-way phone call into a three-way conversation or a three-person
conference call.
Instructions:
-
Depress the switch hook for about one second. This will
place the person you’re talking with on hold.
-
Listen for the dial tone then dial the third person you
want to join the conversation.
(You can use Speed Calling if you have this feature)
-
When the third person answers, you can talk privately
with this person before making the call a three-way conversation.
-
To make the call a three way conversation, depress the
switch hook for about one second to add the person you have on hold.
Your three way call is now underway.
Notes: If for some reason the call to the third
person is not completed, or if someone else answers the phone and the person
you desire to speak with is out, depress the switch hook twice to resume
your conversation with the person on hold.
To disconnect the third person:
-
Depress the switch hook for about one second. You’ll now
have only the original party on the line.
-
If either of the two people hangs up, you can continue
talking with the remaining party.
To disconnect completely:
If the number is busy or no answer:
-
Press the switch hook and release immediately.
You are now reconnected to your original party.
-
Press the switch hook again to cut off the ringing or
busy signal.
-

else in the house is being called.
Instructions:
Wait until the full ringing pattern is complete before
answering your phone, so you know which telephone number was dialed.
Each number will have a separate ring tone.
Notes:
The same distinctive ringing patterns of Alternate
Number are used with Call Waiting, so you can determine whether or not
to interrupt your current conversation to answer the incoming call.
These distinctive Call Waiting tones correspond to the distinctive
ringing patterns.
With Alternate Number, Call Forward operates in one
of two arrangements. Choose which arrangement you want when you select
Teen Service. Your options are:
Both telephone numbers (the main and secondary) are
forwarded when Call Forward is activated. The telephone number to which
you forward these calls does not receive the distinctive ringing
patterns, however. To use, follow the same procedures for Call Forward.
To change from one of the above arrangements to the
other, contact your local phone company.
Notes: Call the business office at 1-800-922-6677
